About Me

Alyssa Grubbs started baking at the very young age of 6 years old. Her love in the kitchen grew more and more with the laughs, and good times that never failed to complement these moments. Alternating between two parents, she would make her traditional batch of chocolate chip cookies with her dad, snuggle up with a good movie, and eat cookies until she couldn't anymore. Eventually, she was taught how to follow directions on baking boxes, and the rest is history!

She attended the University of Alabama, and studied Restaurant and Hospitality management where she learned more about food science, and baking from scratch. Hoping to open up an all around place of entertainment with sweets, good food, and laughter; she continued her baking journey exploring and growing recipes. On the quest to share those sweet times forever engrained in her memory, she has started Sweet Grubb's in hopes to give people the opportunity to create the same memories whether it be alone, or gathered around with a group of family or friends. 

Alyssa plans to open up a location creating an environment that promotes great times, love, and letting go. She hopes to bring many clients with her after they fall in love with her delicious treats. Stay tuned!
